If Your ship uses Alfa Laval EPC 50 purifiers, then most probably You'll find this information profitable.
As far as we are aware, the EPC 50 series are no longer supported, and Alfa Laval offers a retrofit package. That is not necessary a good news, as it combines two factors:
- installation of a retro-fit has its costs, and
- unlike of a simple device swapping by a ship's crew (EE, ETO or anyone from the technical staff) may require attendance of an engineer on-board of the vessel, who will put everything together
